Course Overview
The race begins in the ZooMontana Parking Lot. You’ll quickly head toward the Shiloh Conservation Area, passing the wild, open landscapes that make this part of Billings so special.
From there, hop on the bike and fly along the beautiful Yellowstone River corridor, making your way toward Laurel on a fast and wide-open route. The final out and back will lead you back to the zoo where spectators, families, and the energy of the STAMPEDE finish line are waiting.
Why We Race
STAMPEDE is more than a competition — it’s a chance to support wildlife, conservation, and community.
A portion of all proceeds goes directly to ZooMontana's on-site Veterinary Clinic, helping provide crucial medical care for the animals that call the zoo home.
